This book confused me more than anything. Didn't get a connection with any of the characters and the story moved at lighting speed and then just ended. I am a little curious about the robes...but not enough to buy the other books.Product details

The storyline and characters are amazing! This book is definitely a great foundation for a series and is a nice introduction to the plot and the characters. The writing is really good and so is the flow! Overall, great! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series! ***I voluntarily read and reviewed this as an ARC***
This is a good book. It has a great story. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed from start to finish, it really drew me in. The chemistry between the characters is great and I love the way they interacted with each other. This book is really worth your time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I'm really looking forward to reading from this author again.

When will I find an author who cares about editing? Plot? Character development?
The main character - Bambi? Candy? Tammy, that's it. Tammy has no brains, acts spoiled, is rude to the postman, and never stops to let the reader know her motivations, her goals or her career path. She's an intern who can do whatever she wants, but instead of showing off her intellect, we get to see her rearranging furniture and staring out the window.
I don't know what any guy sees in her. She looks pure, they say, while she's really a nymphomaniac. Is this what guys want to read? Angelic outside, dumb bimbo inside? Gross.
The author is quite obviously not American, probably male, into quickies and not familiar with the female mind.
Lastly, this is set up with cliffhangers that will leave you NOT wanting more.

This book is a sexiest right off the bat. The book is freaky and fast and not knowing it wasn't a stand alone would have helped me going into this book.
It's freaky is all.

Enticing and some of the best I've read from author, Brooke Kinsley. I docked one star for the cliffhanger ending. The story was just taking shape and I was becoming engrossed in the darkness & seduction. The party by invite and the robes reminded me of the movie "Eyes Wide Shut" and I wondered if that was the direction the story would take, but I have to go back to for the next books to learn more. Err, SO frustrating! Nevertheless, I have to keep reading & hope the writing continues to be as good as this first book. Too many mysteries and questions remain to stop here.
